In May 2010, SOKRATHERM and PSE Power Systems signed an agreement to introduce the compact CHP units into the Irish market. Founded in 1985, PSE as the sole distributor of Cummins power generation has established a leading position in the Irish Gen-Set and large-scale cogeneration market. With the highly efficient SOKRATHERM mid-scale (40-400 kWel) CHP units powered by natural gas, sewage gas or biogas, PSE intends to strengthen its position in the cogeneration and biogas market.
The CHP unit manufacturer’s sales director Mr. Voigt comments: “Through the policy of establishing long-time relationships with qualified partners, our CHP units have already been installed in many European countries like Poland, the Netherlands and Russia. In Sochi, for example, three units of the 200 kW class supply a luxury hotel since 2004. We’re really looking forward cooperate with such an excellent partner in Ireland.”
